One of the things that Jay and I agreed to work on when we moved to Taguig is our date day which became pretty much nonexistent when we had our third child and we moved to Cavite. It’s one thing to leave 2 kids for a friend to oversee and another to leave a 6 year old, a 3-year old and a baby!  Seriously, I’m their momma but sometimes, my kids drive me nuts! Even my mom, their grandmom, beg off from this task often. So, we pay our babysitter a bit more than the usual fee and pray that […]

Money’s quite an issue these days. I know it’s been an issue forever, but recently, it’s been hot topic in all the talk shows I’ve been watching like “Anderson” which I thought started out really great. (Those gossipy type issues seem kinda cheap, though) Anyway, there’ve been finance experts on TV giving sound financial advice on how to handle money and all that. I have to tell you, I take notes and actually applied some already, like giving up my freedom and taking some more projects to get more income rolling in. I’d probably be talking more about that on […]

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about my faith. I had some growing up to do. As people close to me know very well, I am very passionate by nature. I’m the crash and burn type. When I came to receive Jesus into my life, I pursued sharing the gospel to women, children and to those who have lost hope as I had, once. I still believe that the desires that I have, the dreams and ambitions that I have for our family and for the the ministry that I believe that we are called in are from God. […]

We visited my sister’s grave at Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque last November 1. It was our kids’ first time to see what November 1 looks like, and it was also their first time at the cemetery. I thought that it was a good time to takeadvantage of the experience as a learning tool. I showed my sister’s picture to Pablo before going and answered his questions about ate Melody, her sickness and her death. He wasn’t very excited about going to the cemetery, he thought he’d see a lot of dead people lying around; it was a good thing, […]

Okay, I’ve been forewarned. A couple of years ago, I read an angry mom’s blog about Moon Sand. She was soooo NOT happy at the trouble Moon Sand put her through and was on the verge of suing the company for false advertising. Moon Sand, she said, isn’t an indoor toy as its creators originally claimed. It’s messy and difficult to clean. So, when someone gave a pack of Moon Sand to one of my kids, I immediately put it away at a safe place until I could figure out how my kids can enjoy it without all the mess I […]
