Fully Housewifed Mishka shoes and mommy feet are so meant to be –

April 1, 2015 maximios Household

Mishka foldable shoes must have been created for the likes of me!

People who know me well know that I’m not much of a fan of flat shoes. For years I thrived on wedges, stilettos and high heeled boots. Even my rubber shoes were 3 inches high back then.

But motherhood has a way of changing the way we see shoes.  Really.

Look, ma! No heels! (Image taken in 2011 by Bokehbug Photography)

You see, I’ve got three little kids, all boys. And if there’s anything about boys that everyone knows, it’s that they’re like Energizer bunnies.

At least that’s what I got.

Running on heels

I tried to run after them in my heels, I didn’t want to sacrifice “style” back then, which was so foolish because I could’ve hurt myself.

I was able to keep at it with my eldest (I made my hubby run after him most of the time, haha), but when my second child was born, then my third, that was it! I had to let go of my precious heels and started wearing flats.

Not all flats are comfy!

But it’s not just about wearing flats. Like I said, I didn’t want to sacrifice style back then, and I still don’t want to sacrifice that now.

I also now care about comfort which brings me to my next point. Not all flat shoes are comfortable shoes! Some of them are too hard, they hurt your ankles.  Sometimes, walking around all day in flats still hurt my feet.

Well, when you’re a mom and you’ve got all these mommy tasks – running after the baby in the mall, accompanying your children to their special classes, to birthday parties, playing with them at the park or doing your groceries with all three of them in tow , COMFORT is your number one priority with the shoes you wear. You want to be able to do things with your feet, if you know what I mean.

Which brings me back to saying that I think Mishka foldable shoes must have been created for the likes of me. Just look at this one:

Who doesn’t like ballet shoes? You can’t even tell it’s foldable! By the way, it’s also available in blue and black colors.

There are other styles, too. Here are my favorites:

Here’s another version of it:

For dainty feet, here’s something cutey:

Yes, these ones are foldable, too. I’m a fan of pink so I just have to feature this one. It’s got other designs, too.

Really comfy afternoons with your kids call for this!

And if you’re feeling extra stylish (a.k.a. you’re missing your boots), here you go!

And if you’ve got some great toes to boast, here’s one that’s open-toed:

Aren’t they the greatest? They’re not only pretty, they’re also comfortable as they are made with extra foam cushion in the insole, and they’re extremely functional. You can actually move around in these and not fear any blisters coming on at the end of the day.

The best part is that when you travel, it’s easy to take along two or three of them because they’re lightweight and they’ve got foldable, people! F-O-L-D-A-B-L-E. They’ll fit right into your luggage, no problem.

Mishka shoes are now being sold in Landmark Makati. Just head on to the shoe section on the second floor.

You can also follow Mishka shoes on Facebook and Instagram and get yourselves updated with the latest styles.

Happy shoe stylin’, mommies’!
